Ling Yu Chanted in Poetry

Poet Ling Yu, known for her wild imagination and understated emotions, joins Fisfisa Media’s short film project, “The Island Chanted in Poetry”, with her 1993 poem of the year, “An Acrobat Family”. In this first attempt to pair poetry reading with images, Ling Yu presents her sketch of the cityscape through a colorful fantasy world created through special visual effects.

Poet Guan Guan, who began writing poetry more than sixty years ago, continues to create and contribute his voice to poetry. In addition to publishing a new volume of poetry, “Blanch A Poem and Eat While Hot”, recently he also joined Fisfisa Media’s short film project, “The Island Chanted in Poetry”, lending his unique voice to four poems that he personally selected, including “The Star Flyer”, “The Gluttonous Prince”, “Spring is You, You are Smoke, Smoke is I, I am Spring”, and “The Vat”.

【Poetry Lost and Found】- A Visual Exhibition

2019-01-15

Fisfisa Media and Eslite Bookstore’s Nanxi branch collaborated to show visualized works of literature on three five-meter tall monitor walls, and to broadcast recordings of writers reading their own works in the bookstore. Eslite Bookstore’s Xinyi, Songyan and Dunnan branches also created “Poetry Lost and Found” display cases to feature selected works of literature. In a busy space where people come and go, literature is there for you in both sight and sound.
